Coldbusters
The heater has a cold start function that will heat the unit as fast as possible, and once at operating temperature, will produce constant output duct air of 130 F. The unit automatically adjusts to all plane sizes, maintaining Air Pressure to a maximum of 20 inches of water.
The System monitors vital engine temperatures such as coolant and oil, ensuring the unit’s engine does not overheat. By automatically controlling the “Variflow” air damper and the engine’s RPMs CALISTA produces the ideal output air temperature at the ideal air pressure.
The days of constantly monitoring your heater and making ongoing adjustments because of varying daily temperatures and sizes of airplanes are now over.

The most powerful and durable GSE heaters today are the Spencer Coldbuster Mark IVs. The Mark 4-900 delivers clean and filtered hot air at 165-180 degrees above ambient in sub-zero climates. Capable of delivering 900,000 BTUs at up to 6,000 cfm, this heater cart can handle any commercial aircraft in service today.
The Mark 4-900 uses the “turbo-dynamic” heat exchanger technology, maximizing exhaust heat. Our “VariFlo” control can fully regulate hot airflow for all-size aircraft. New for 2014 is the 50% increase in duct storage space by moving the rear wheels outside of the frame, also giving our unit additional stability.
